Celebrate Mother's Day at Bayou Bend, the American decorative arts center of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Treat the special women in your life to an afternoon of nature, beauty, and art at Bayou Bend. On Mother´s Day, moms and grandmothers receive free admission and a small gift. Everyone else in the party is admitted for just $5.
Tour the first floor of Bayou Bend to view an outstanding collection of furniture, paintings, silver and ceramics displayed in the 1920s mansion designed by renowned architect John Staub. Stroll through the extensive gardens and woodlands which are no less than an oasis of nature and beauty in the heart of Houston, and view the blooming crepe myrtles and southern magnolia trees. Self-guided tours of the house and gardens is included in the admission price, along with complimentary refreshments and a take-home gift for dads.
