If you’re looking for a way to increase your family’s awareness of foods in the fabulous Latin American cuisine, visit the Houston Institute of Hispanic Culture’s “Latin American Gastronomic Festival” this Saturday, April 30 at 1:30pm, Keith Jackson Hall, IHCH Bldg, 3315 Sul Ross. The foodie fest is free and open to the public and will feature the food of Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, USA, Mexico, Paraguay, and Peru (think dulce de leche and empanandas, yum!).
