The first Tuesday of every month, the Houston Fire Museum presents Firehouse Tales for Tikes.
Join us for story time at the fire station. Fun, fire-themed books accompanied by finger plays, action rhymes, puppetry and crafts for children ages 2-6.

Now, they are only open 10-4pm but they are open on Saturdays.
Currently they are having a "fire safety poster contest."
It's a really unique and fun museum, with an entire tot area, complete with dress up AND a pole for the kids to slide down (with a padded mat at the bottom, don't worry)
If you're kid is fireman, firetruck, or fire-dog obsessed, he or she will love this.
