Looking for an evening filled with satire and wit? Fans of best-selling author and humorist David Sedaris will be thrilled to attend his Houston performance at half price this week. You’ll need to sign up with Goldstar to take advantage of this deal (it’s free). Currently, the April 19 show at 8 p.m. is discounted half price — $22 rather than $44. Sedaris will be at Jones Hall “dishing out his trademark satire in hilarious doses,” according to the Society for the Performing Arts.
Sedaris is the author of several books, including Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and his most recent, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk.
