May Fete

It’s May Day on Sunday and Houston’s oldest church, Christ Church Cathedral, is hosting a special “May Féte” celebration, one they’ve been hosting for over 100 years. Festivities will include the traditional May Pole dance, the crowning of the May king and queen from the church’s 5th graders, and entertainment for all ages. A spring luncheon will be served inside the church while outside there will be hot dogs, St. Arnold’s beer, and fresh lemonade. The Buckaroo Band will perform from 12:30-2:30pm. Christ Church Cathedral is located at 1117 Texas Avenue in downtown Houston.
Thanks Sarah Gish for this cool pick
